Spiders Alumni shine for Gonzaga University in preseason match against Trinity Western
On Sunday, August 24, GU handled Trinity Western in a 3-0 victory with all scores and assists being given by 2008 summer season Spiders. Two goals were scored by Spider forward Tye Perdido (#13), both assisted by midfielder Ben Funkhouser (#18). In the 32nd minute, Nic Barclay (#4) headed a ball in off a ball from Conor Baranski (#17). [jersey numbers are numbers worn as a Spider during the 2008 summer season]
